Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What exactly does AB Chalk + Designs do?

A: We create hand lettered wedding and event signage in Raleigh, North Carolina and the surrounding Triangle area.

Q: Do you only do chalkboards? Or can you write on other mediums as well?

A: Chalkboards are our bread & butter, but we've also done hand lettering on stained wood, mirrors, glass, linen, and are always open to new ideas!

Q: Do you have pricing list?

A: In short , no. We've found that no two jobs are identical due to the majority of our work being custom and tailored to just what you want & need. If you have a question about pricing, we'd love for you to send us an idea of what you'd like us to create for you, and we'll be happy to get back to you with a quote asap.

Q: Do you have chalkboards that you loan out, or do I have to provide my own?

A: Yes! We have a small inventory of chalkboards that we allow our clients to borrow at no cost. However, you are always welcome to provide your own chalkboards.

Q: I'd love to book you for my wedding/special event! What should I do to get on your calendar?

A: Great, we can't wait to hear from you! Your next steps are...

  • Send us an email or fill out our contact form, and let us know what you'd like us to create for you, as well as the date of your wedding/event. Though we can't guarantee we will be available, we ask that you please contact us no later than 3-4 weeks before the date of your event.
  • Once we've received your email we will get back to you asap with our availability, a quote, and ask for a small deposit to reserve your date on our calendar.
